The Ghost Train

A group of six passengers find themselves marooned at an isolated Cornish railway station, having missed the last connection of the night. Local legend has it that the station is haunted by a mysterious ghost train — the sight of which brings death to any who witness it. Thrills, chills, and laughter follow as the passengers endeavour to survive the night.

The Ghost Train by Arnold Ridley, directed by Frances Guy and Robin Thwaytes, ran for three nights on the village hall stage. This was Exeter Drama Company’s first production at Longdown — the start of a relationship that’s continued ever since, with two or three productions a year at the hall.

Performed by Exeter Drama Company on 22nd–24th September 2022.
